1) PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Scope of work: Reporting to the Executive Committee, the Coordinator will oversee all coordination and administration of Save Lamu’s targeted response to issues and needs of the indigenous community in Lamu. S/he will assume an overall supervision, coordination of Save Lamu’s advocacy and outreach programs and projects in according to objectives set by Save Lamu in collaboration with the local community and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
– Master’s Degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum 5 years of experience;
– Must be a Kenyan Citizen;
– Experience in community advocacy and program management; and
– Proficiency in the use of computers for: word processing, Database, Spreadsheets, E-mail and Internet.
2) ADMINISTRATOR
Scope of work:
Under the supervision of the Save Lamu Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant will assist as required with office and field duties in the implementation of Save Lamu Program and Projects. S/he will be responsible for various duties in the running of existing and new projects as required.
Qualifications:
– Diploma in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or a Certificate in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience;
– Must be a Kenyan Citizen;
– Experience in pffice administration;
– Proficiency in the use of computers for : Word processing, Database, Spreadsheet, E-mail and Internet.
